Here’s how it works:
- Go to www.GoodSearch.com and enter Congregation Beth Shalom - Pompton Lakes as the charity you want to support.
- Then click on "Make GoodSearch your homepage" and follow the set up directions, or, if you want to keep your current internet explorer homepage, add GoodSearch to your tool bar by clicking on "Add GoodSearch to your IE, Firefox, or Mac Toolbar" and follow the download directions.
- Now all you have to do is use GoodSearch as your internet search engine, the same way you would use Google or Yahoo. Each time you search the internet, GoodSearch will give us a donation of $.01 at no cost to you.
In addition, if you shop on line, use the Goodshop.com link on the GoodSearch homepage or go to Goodshop.com and each merchant will donate 3-37% of your purchase to Beth Shalom. Hundreds of stores including Target, Gap, Best Buy, ebay, Macy's, itunes and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order you will support Beth Shalom. Your entire transaction is made directly through the merchant’s website, just as if you had gone to their website directly.
