Our Sisterhood is a strong community of women who foster the traditions of Judaism. We offer many opportunities to meet and interact with other Jewish women, and we enhance Jewish living by providing educational programs and social activities to our members, our congregation and our community.
We are all different types, at all different stages in our lives. Married, single, divorced, widowed, new moms, soccer moms, Religious School moms, empty nesters, working women, students, seniors, retirees and so much more! Women who balance the many demands of life while working to improve Beth Shalom for our children and grandchildren.
Each new member that we enlist helps our dynamic Sisterhood grows larger, more varied and stronger. We reach out to each other in friendship, bound by our common interest in religion, family and community. Regardless of your stage in life -- your age, your interests, your background -- there’s something for everyone.
CBS Sisterhood unites us as Jewish women. We are active and involved. We believe that our differences strengthen us and give us a powerful voice.
On a global scale, Sisterhood members unite with thousands of other women to make a difference. As an affiliate of Women’s League for Conservative Judaism, we raise our voices on today’s issues concerning America, Israel and the United Nations. Women’s League and the Torah Fund campaign support the continuity of Conservative Judaism through its active giving to the institutions that educate our future religious and lay leaders.
Please join us and be a part of the wonderful tradition that is Sisterhood. If not now, when?
